The Last Mage AU
The Last Mage AU is a game where you play as Frisks adult child going through college in New Ebott City. Dealing with complex relationships, learning how to be an adult, and finding a whole world of possibilities. Navigate this world as the last human mage, attend college with Papyrus, discover the mysteries of the world through science with Sans and Alphys, bake muffins with muffet! In this game the relationships and path you forge is all your own. Enjoy!

I have been in a pretty deep depression so sadly progress has been excruciatingly slow but I promise I am working on it, it just might be a while. T-T
I have a tumblr where I try to post about this and my other projects, there's not much on there but if you ever have any questions about the story or characters I can definitely answer them over there! Idk if that would help with the wait but it's the best I've got rn, sorry. I have a lot planned for this story and chapter one sets up a lot of that. I have like four different routes for MC's living arrangements alone which all add different flavor text and introduce different characters. I am also terrible at coding, I am very much a writer first.
I promise this story will happen though! Undertale is such a big deal for me and this story is basically all of my self indulgent fantasies shoved into one project lol. I really wish I could've gotten something out for the tenth anniversary. Actually I do have some art I had made by a friend for the main monster cast that I could ( and have been meaning to) post. I also made some (admittedly kinda bad) portraits for the main six human characters (cuz I needed more of a cast than just Frisk, the monsters, and MC haha) so those exist too I just need to actually post them.

I’ll be okay, I have bipolar and bpd as well as just general depression and that mixed with current politics (I live in the US) have made things rough. My depression hasn’t gotten this bad in like a year or two but I guess things just compounded. :,)
I am very fortunate to have lots of support around me in the form of friends and family, who are all very understanding. So I’m definitely not alone in all this and that helps a lot.
I really really appreciate your interest in this game. I was so unsure about it when I posted the demo. I’ve only ever written original works and only recently(as in last year) even got the courage to post those, so this was a big step for me. But seeing people excited for this makes me so happy and hopeful.
It may be slow but I will make this game happen. I love it too much and am in way too deep to give up now.
I will definitely be posting the art soon, it’s so so cute. My artist is wonderful and a close friend. They have this really soft chibi-esque style and it’s so wonderful. She’s currently working on some more of the characters, like Toriel and Asgore + some others who I didn’t ask her to do originally since I didn’t want to overwhelm her and I figured the main routes were most important.
There is something I’m still on the fence about with this story, and while I will probably make a poll on Tumblr at some point, I keep putting that part off haha. It would be a fully optional thing and admittedly add more work but this story is about different types of relationships so it would make sense to include but I’m worried how people would react to the concept and if I even have the skills to write it. But I am definitely going on a tangent now and overthinking it lol.

No set release date but progress is being made. It's taking a while due to the four(? I'd need to check my notes to be sure on that number) living situation options, there's also a human character that goes along with each route that needs to be introduced and it adds up. 😅

I like it but could you have us meet sans and alphs love it so far feel free to use some of my suggestion's
I'd have to check my notes, but I believe Sans will show up in chapter 1! So You'll get to meet him soon. As for Alphys, she'll be introduced a bit later, around chapter 3 if memory serves.
I plan to have all the major players from Undertale show up in some capacity, it's just a matter of when!

i think this game has great potential, but the lack of tags makes this game harder to find
Try to add tags like: Character Costumization, twine, fangame or parody
Look at other Undertale if's and put similar tags

Ahhh thank you so much for this sweet comment! Meeting Toriel will be very fun to write! Chara is not alive in this. Asriel, however, is! I love the idea of naming MC Chara that is so cute. If I can get it to work I'd love to add some extra stuff (like reactions from Toriel and Asriel) if you name your character that, cuz I think that'd just be adorable.
Funny thing, when testing, I actually used the name Kris for my mc lol!

I think you'll be happy to know that Chara will still be in the story in a way! It's a little roundabout but they are still very important. The mysteries of Frisks many sins will be a little side plot that will be increasingly important if you spend more time around Sans since he's specifically suspicious. He doesn't remember the resets but he has theories about them. He is very distrustful of Frisk because of this and will be a bit cold to MC too, although the shock of Frisk having a grown kid that they never told most people about will probably shock some of the cold out of him lol.
